This is to address the reading capacity problem of the pupils in elementary level.

Early last year, the Province partnered with OneHope Philippines, a non government organization, in giving books and other reading materials which complements to the Reading Comprehension Program of the province.

Thus, the provincial government, through the initiative of Governor Antonio H. Cerilles, DepEd and the office 2nd Dist. Rep. Hon. Aurora Enerio-Cerilles, simultaneously conducted Book Giving Ceremony as part of the Reading Comprehension Program and in line with the 7 point agenda of the governor.

“We are giving books to your sons and daughters to help them be proficient in reading, and for them to become professionals,” according to Governor Antonio H. Cerilles.

“I could say that our province is one of the provinces in the Philippines that has a lot of professionals because for us Education is always number 1,” said Congw. Aurora Enerio-Cerilles.
